Events - The Super 8 "Pick-Up" Men
The Super 8 brand proudly sponsors the Super 8 "Pick-Up" men - the courageous cowboys who rescue bronc and bareback riders while ensuring their and the horse’s safety - at these key events:

• the Greatest Show on Earth – the Calgary Stampede, in Calgary, AB, Canada from July 9-18, 2010.
• the Festival St. Tite in Quebec, Canada. This well attended event with over 1 million in 2008, it will take place September 2010.
• the Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) in Edmonton, AB, Canada from November 2010.

The Super 8 brand also proudly sponsors the most famous of all Pick-Up men, Gary Rempel. Gary is a native Saskatchewan, 10 time CFR champion and 6 time National Finals Rodeo champion.

 

We proudly sponsorthe 2008 Canadian Bull Riding Champion, Tyler Thomson. Definitely the most dangerous event in rodeo, bull riding requires a positive attitude as a cowboy engages in a test of nerves against the bull. (Let’s see what happens with his result at CFR in November 11-15, 2009)
